Went up to ski the East Face of Mount Lincoln with the Spectacular Adventures group. It was a beautiful day out and we had a great time hanging out on the summit with some mountain goats. We then skied down from the summit on some nice soft corn snow. We continued down the big bowl and then pieced together some ribbons and patches of snow between walking. It was all smiles on the way down until I decided to do something stupid...trying to huck off of a mound of snow with two little trees. Totally botched the landing and went down hard twisting my left ankle in a bad way. The silver lining was that I didn't have to hobble out too far back to the cars and I had great people to take care of me. But I later found out that I had seriously messed up my ankle. Broken and displaced fibula and torn ligaments. Ski season is officially over...
