2016 CB Pow Camp Day 5
The night before we got some snow but also really high winds every where which made the snow pretty crusty. We headed up Washington Gulch trailhead and were pretty convinced that the skiing wouldn't be that great after skinning and sidehilling across a bunch of crusty terrain. But as soon as we rounded a corner to a different aspect and behind some trees, we found some amazingly soft snow to make some fun turns. After skiing down we did another half lap on the lower section and then another short lap on one of the lower bowls of Snodgrass. Really fun skiing and a great way to end the Pow Camp!
